The Earthquake

The Earthquake
On Monday, 14th of November, there was an earthquake. I was so glad it didn't knock our house down. I woke up in my bed quivering from fright, I thought I was going to die. But luckily it all stopped the next day.

Or at least I thought it did. In the afternoon we saw the lights swinging back and forth. As we would normally do in an earthquake, we ducked under the tables, dropped, covered our heads, and held the legs of the table. Some of us couldn't fit under the tables, as we only have 6 tables in our class, so the others went under a door frame. As much as two earthquakes shook us at the exact same time, I barely felt it. I'm just glad I'm still alive.
